To confirm your stay, we require a 25% deposit at the time of booking. The remaining balance is payable 4 weeks before arrival.
Payments can be made securely online using most major credit and debit cards, or via bank transfer if preferred.
Check-in is from 4:00pm and check-out is 10:00am.
We operate a self check-in policy, allowing you to arrive at a time that suits you after check-in opens. Keys will be left in the doors prior to arrival so you can let yourselves in and settle at your own pace.
If you would like to request an early check-in or later departure, please let us know in advance — we will always do our best to accommodate where possible.

We are the first property you will see as you enter Hawkridge. Drive straight down the farm drive where the cottages will appear directly in front of you.
We have a large guest car park located to the left just before the stables. We kindly ask that vehicles are parked here during your stay to help keep the farmyard clear, as we require regular access to the barns and surrounding areas.
For ease of unpacking and departure, you’re very welcome to pull up beside Jasper Cottage to unload. Once you’re settled, we ask that vehicles are moved to the main car park adjacent to the stables.
At this time, unfortunately we do not provide EV charging.

We aim to provide place settings for eight guests in each cottage (glasses, plates, cutlery, etc.), with Kiri Cottage equipped for twelve.

Each cottage has its own private patio with picnic seating — perfect for outdoor dining and summer evenings.

Available for guest use at £1 per cycle, operated using 50p coins.

Ideal for exploring the moor, farm tracks and coastal paths in all seasons.
Torches
We’re located within a Dark Sky Reserve and keep outdoor lighting to a minimum. A torch is essential after dusk — though the stargazing more than makes up for it.
Beach gear
Exmoor’s coast is within easy reach, as is the plunge pool in our river, so pack swimwear, towels and windbreaks if you’re planning seaside days or wild swims.
Dog bedding & bowls
If you’re bringing four-legged guests, familiar bedding helps them settle in comfortably.

We’re delighted to welcome dogs at West Hollowcombe Farm.
Up to two dogs per cottage are permitted (or up to eight dogs when the full site is booked exclusively). A charge of £20 per dog, per stay applies.
The surrounding fields are fenced and cottage gardens are relatively secure, offering space for dogs to relax. There are wonderful walks directly from the doorstep, though guests should be mindful that we are in a rural setting with livestock and deer nearby.
We kindly ask that dogs are kept under close control at all times when outside the cottage grounds.
West Hollowcombe Farm is a wonderful base for guests wishing to bring their horses — whether for hunting, hacking or simply exploring Exmoor’s exceptional riding country.
Horses are welcomed on a DIY livery basis at a charge of £49 per horse, per stay.

West Hollowcombe Farm is a wonderful place for families, and we regularly welcome guests with young children.

Two cots and two highchairs are available — please let us know in advance if you’d like these set up for your stay.
Outdoor Play
There is a playground on site, providing space for children to play and explore. As with any rural setting, we kindly ask that children are supervised while outdoors.
Farm Environment
As we are a working farm, we ask that children do not climb on machinery, log piles or enter barns and outbuildings without permission, for their safety.
Petrol stations are relatively few and far between in this part of Exmoor, so we recommend filling up before heading too far off-piste.
Nearby fuel stations can be found in Dulverton, Tiverton, South Molton and Wheddon Cross.
For electric vehicles, EV charging is available in Dulverton, located next to The Bridge Inn.
A six-person wood-fired hot tub is available for guests staying in Norton Cottage, or for shared use when the farm is booked on an exclusive-use basis.
The tub is supplied using natural borehole water, treated with a small amount of chlorine to maintain water quality.
Heating & Use:
As the hot tub is wood-fired, it typically takes around three hours to heat, so we recommend planning ahead if you’d like to use it during your stay.

We provide an initial supply of wood and firelighters to get you started.
Safety & Availability:
Children
Children must be supervised at all times while using the hot tub.
Opening hours
In consideration of other guests and our rural setting, the hot tub is available between 8:00am and 8:00pm.
Most major supermarkets deliver to the farm. As we’re unable to accept deliveries for guests, please book a slot after your arrival time and be present to take delivery.
