ESSENTIAL INFORMATION

Local food

We believe great food can make the difference between a good holiday and a truly memorable one. Whether you’re planning to dine out or cook at the cottages, we’re fortunate to be surrounded by excellent local producers and specialist independent retailers.

If you’re celebrating or planning a special gathering, we’re very happy to recommend trusted in-house caterers and local private chefs.

You can explore our carefully curated selection of favourite places to eat and source local food on our Food & Drink page.

Man’s Best Friend

As a family of dog lovers, we’re delighted to welcome four-legged guests to West Hollowcombe Farm. Up to two dogs per cottage are permitted (or up to eight dogs when the farm is booked on an exclusive-use basis). A charge of £20 per dog, per stay applies.

There are wonderful walks directly from the doorstep, though guests should be mindful that we are in a rural setting with livestock and deer nearby. Dogs should be kept under close control when outside the cottage grounds.

Baby Essentials

We’re pleased to offer a selection of baby equipment to make travelling with little ones that bit easier.

Highchairs & cots
Available on request. Please let us know in advance and we’ll ensure everything is ready and set up for your arrival.

Farm Animals

We keep a variety of farm animals on site, including turkeys, chickens, sheep and pigs. Guests are welcome to meet them — and children are always welcome to help with egg collecting and feeding if arranged in advance.

Play Area

For families visiting with children, we have a dedicated play area on site, complete with a climbing frame, Wendy house and picnic table.

The play area is positioned within easy viewing distance of the Jasper, Kiri and Norton cottage patios, making it easy to keep an eye on little ones while they play.

Housekeeping

Mid-stay cleans can be arranged on request. Please get in touch for availability and pricing.
